Birmingham – Sainsburys Active Kids Training Day

A day facilitated by Andy Heald and accompanied by Sports Leaders and Jack Shakespeare – UKActive –

Friday 15th June 9am-5pm

The purpose of the day will be to ensure you are 100% prepared, skilled and set to meet all the delivery expectations of the Active Kids Holiday Courses.

Please see a brief outline of what will be covered on the day below:

1. Sport leaders are delivering training to our camp leads re. Working with volunteers and how to deliver the young leaders qualification.

2. Andy Heald and Jack Shakespeare will be delivering training on the Active Kids programme & expectations – this will be practical so please wear appropriate attire

3. Andy Heald will deliver training around standards, policies, procedures & camp processes and the CQI expectations for the courses.

As part of the quality expectations of the programme each business is required to nominate a designated Active Kids Camp CQI leader COMPULSORY who will be expected to attend the day with yourselves.

Please note it will be an expectation that all deliverers on the Active Kids Camps have the most recent British Gymnastics qualification and Dance Activator.
