Join our conference in February where we will consider how to use the Independent School Standards (ISS) to support your school’s improvement.
This training event has been designed to support you and your school to deepen your understanding of the requirements of the Independent School Standards.
Meeting the Independent School Standards is mandatory. This training will help you to use them to your advantage, turning what might be seen as a tick box exercise into a tool to evaluate your school.
In this training you will:
- Consider how to write your self-evaluation around these standards
- Examine the eight parts in more detail
- Explore what documentation and level of detail is required
- Access essential reading on the ISS
- Have the opportunity tonetwork with other non-association schools
- Discover how B11 Education can support your school
Joan Hewitt, B11’s lead consultant for non-association independent schools, will deliver this training. Joan is a former headteacher with over 10 years school inspection experience, including as a Senior HMI with responsibility for regional oversight and delivery of independent school inspections.
