TWP Tutors: Inspiring Learners

Here at TWP we pride ourselves on the quality of our Tutor workforce and the knowledge they share with those they teach. What makes our Tutors even more special is that, in most cases, they have walked the same path as those they are now teaching.

A large percentage of our learner base is made up of Premier Education’s network or Activity Professionals who provide sporting activities, courses and Holiday Camps to primary school children across the UK. As a group, Premier Education ensure their coaches are trained above the national level for deployment, a standard that has them holding firm as the No. 1 deliverer of sporting activities to schools. As a training provider partner, we provide all courses required for their Activity Professionals to excel.

David, Tutor and IQA for TWP joined us from Premier Education after working as a coach for eight years. He knows what it takes to learn the qualifications needed for such high standards and has chosen to ‘pay it forward’ in his new role.

“Throughout my time with Premier Education I’d always been passionate about ensuring children of all ages and abilities received high-quality coaching. For me, this is a must for any new Activity Professional joining the team! To ensure this I would run sessions to support others with their own CPD and it was then that I really found a passion for tutoring which led me to join Train With Premier.” Explains David.

Our learner offering is further enhanced by our partnerships with major National Governing Bodies of Sport, enabling us to provide sport-specific Activator courses or Accredited qualifications. Through his CPD journey with Premier Education, David has completed many courses on offer with Train With Premier allowing him to fully engage with learners on a more personal level. He knows what his learners are going through.

Because David, and other members of the Tutor team, have been in the same position as the people they teach, it’s easy to pass on the passion that got them to where they are today.

“The tutor team genuinely care for every learner and want them to be the best that they can be to improve the coaching experience for their participants in the future. We have created and adopted various techniques and delivery ideas to ensure that all courses are delivered in an engaging way that suits the needs of each and every learner.” Says David.
