Dance and Drama Curricular Training Day

1 day programme – 9.30- 4.30pm

Designed and developed exclusively for Premier Education Group this one day Curriculum Training course aims to support and develop the learner’s knowledge of how to deliver both dance and drama within the primary school curriculum. With a focus on adaption and differentiation of topics, the course will teach learners how to write, plan and deliver a scheme of work to any age group, using a practical, learner led approach.

On successful completion of this course, learners will;

• have a clear and practical understanding of how to teach a range of schemes of work to KS1 and KS2 for both dance and drama
• be able to adapt a scheme of work to suit any age group
• understand the ‘product’ that they are selling to schools and be confident to be able to approach schools
• explore and experience a range of performing arts games and activities to use within a scheme of work
• understand, plan and deliver a lesson plan
• understand, plan and use a scheme of work
• understand, develop and plan learning outcomes
• understand and use resources and stimulus
